(Video) Sunni ‘rebels’ decapitate Alawite minority in cold blood

This beheading took place on the 15th of August 2013, which could be connected to the August 2013 Offensive in Deir al-Zor by extremist groups. According to the cameraman, they captured a Syrian soldier who was a sniper. They accused him several times to be a “Nussayri”, an Alawi, what is showing how sectarian they are.

During the video, the executer is telling the cameraman two times to put the mobile phone away, assuming he is filming. It’s obvious that the estimated number of unknown cases regarding beheadings/executions is very high, they don’t want to be filmed. The guy who is holding the head of the killed soldier too, doesn’t look at all like he is from Syria, more likely from the Maghreb states. In the video, you can see also a lot of children around ages 7-9 watching this violent event.
